Sunshine, Smiles, and Cardboard Boats: Celebrating Our 17th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta
June brought plenty of sunshine and even more excitement as Cross Keys Village hosted its 17th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta! From the moment the first boat hit the water, the day was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories shared by residents, team members, families, and community guests.
One of the highlights of the event was the incredible creativ
ity on display. Teams transformed ordinary cardboard into imaginative boats that wowed the crowd, proving that a little ingenuity—and a lot of teamwork—can go a long way. Whether boats sailed smoothly across the water or took an unexpected plunge, everyone enjoyed cheering on the participants and celebrating the fun together.
We were thrilled to welcome our special guest emcees, Scott and Kim from Froggy 107.7, who kept the excitement going all day long with their enthusiasm and entertaining commentary. Their energy added even more fun to an already fantastic event.
Events like the Cardboard Boat Regatta showcase what makes Cross Keys Village such a special place. They bring people together, create lasting memories, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of our community.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our outstanding Cross Keys Village Wellness team, whose months of planning, coordination, and hard work made this event another tremendous success. Their dedication continues to make this annual tradition one that everyone looks forward to.
