Annual Chicken BBQ & Car Show
On Saturday, August 9, Cross Keys Village welcomed friends, neighbors, and car enthusiasts for the Annual Chicken BBQ and Car Show. This long-standing tradition is not only a wonderful way to enjoy our beautiful campus, it is also a meaningful fundraiser hosted by The Friends of Cross Keys Village, with proceeds benefiting the Good Samaritan Fund. This fund provides vital support to residents who have outlived their financial resources.
This year’s BBQ was a resounding success, with 850 delicious chicken dinners served through the drive thru pick up station outside the Nicarry Meetinghouse. Behind the scenes, more than 25 dedicated volunteers worked enthusiastically to prepare, package, and hand out the meals.
The Car Show was equally impressive, drawing 86 vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and eras. Guests had the chance to stroll through rows of Mustangs, vintage Model A hotrods, and more, creating a true showcase for anyone who loves classic and custom cars.
