Assisted Living Attendant II -(Part-Time Day, Part-Time Evenings, Part-Time Nights) (including weekends and holidays) , Provides physical and emotional support to Residents with a variety of functional levels from those who are alert, oriented and relatively independent to those who need assistance with several activities of daily living (ADL’s) or those who require cuing due to cognitive impairment.  Support is provided in accordance with Home procedures and state/federal regulations.  Assists Residents with activities of daily living and general housekeeping.  Documents observations and interventions in Residents’ medical records.  Administers medications following successful completion of the state mandated course.  Works in collaboration with the AL Community Life Coordinators to create a homelike environment and encourage Resident involvement.  Works under the general direction of the Assisted Living Resident Services Manager; receives clinical guidance from the LPN on duty.  Independent judgment is frequently required.  Scope of job duties are complex and the quality of work contributes to Resident and co-worker well-being.

Caregiver (Nursing Asst.) - 6:30 am to 2:30 pm (Part-Time, Weekend Option), 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm (Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekend Option), 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Part-Time), 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Part-Time)- Must be currently enrolled in the PA State Nurse Aide Registry. Administers basic nursing care for Residents in accordance with procedures and state/federal regulations. Completes appropriate records. Maintains safety and sanitation standards. Works under general direction of Care Leader. Work is routinely reviewed for soundness of judgment, adequacy and accuracy. Scope of job duties are complex and the quality of work contributes to Resident and co-worker safety and well-being. Care Giver must be proficient in basic nursing care to meet the Resident’s physical and emotional needs. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Careleader (LPN) - 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm (Full-Time, Part-Time), Within the current and appropriate Nurse Practice Act, supervises and monitor the delivery of care by Caregivers according to resident care plans.  Assess resident for condition changes.  Monitor dining activities to identify concerns or changes in resident’s needs.  Respond to Caregivers request for assistance, correcting inappropriate or unsafe techniques.  Identify education needs for the Caregivers.

Clinical Care Specialist II- 6:30 am to 2:30 pm (Full-Time), 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm (Full-Time), 10:30 pm - 6:30 am (Full-Time), Displays initiative and demonstrates independent judgment in prioritizing responsibilities.  Coordinates and supervises Resident care; leads team members to maintain the highest level of Resident well-being.  Leads in the planning, implementation, and management of quality nursing care for Residents in accordance with Community standards and applicable State/Federal regulations.  Assists the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Director of Nursing with projects as assigned. Participates in the development and implementation of the Nursing Department’s philosophy, goals and objectives.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.  Demonstrates exemplary role-modeling skills.

Community Life Leader- (Full-Time), Provides daily program and individual/group activities on the Nursing Units for approximately 40-70 Residents in accordance with Cross Keys Village--The Brethren Home Community policies, departmental procedures/ protocols and State/Federal and accreditation regulations.  Utilizes recreation and therapeutic services for the purpose of intervention in bringing about a desired change or adjustment in meeting Residents needs.  Assists in the planning of activity opportunities for Resident participation that bring pleasure and other positive rewards.  Scope of duties are complex and the quality of work contributes to the Resident’s physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.  Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Dining Services Neighborhood Specialist- (Part-Time, 15 hours per pay, Evening, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in the Cross Keys Village/The Brethren Home Community’s Core Values. Prepare/serve/deliver meals and/or set up and clean dishes, dining rooms and kitchen as assigned for the purpose of providing quality meals at established dietary/nutritional levels.  Additionally, perform assigned duties of cashier diet clerk and/or stock room clerk.  Follow specific, detailed department instructions, policies and procedures, including established sanitation and infectious control standards. The scope of the job duties is of moderate complexity and the quality of work contributes to the nutritional/dietary well being of the Resident.  Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Director of Campus Dining- Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in The Brethren Home Community’s Core Values. Dynamic and results-oriented leadership skills needed with willingness to take a customer service oriented team to the next level in dining. Establish department objectives, organize and manage activities of Campus Dining Team Members providing quality dietary and nutritional care for Health Care Residents, Assisted Living Center Residents, Independent Living Residents, Team Members and visitors in accordance with The Home’s procedures and State/Federal regulations.  Work independently under consultative direction to accomplish long range goals; assignments often self initiated.  Develop solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.  Quality of decisions made contribute to the nutritional and dietary well being of the Residents and to the success of Cross Keys Village.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Housekeeper- (Part-Time, Day/Evening, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), Cleaning of resident’s rooms as needed and maintaining all types of floors.
Follow detailed instructions established by the state/federal regulations. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Lifetime Learning Coordinator- (Part-Time, Flexible Hours) The Lifetime Learning Coordinator will provide communication, software, and project coordination for the Pathways Institute.  The Lifetime Learning Coordinator will complete, coordinate, and/or assist with such duties as: (1) Preparation/scheduling of meetings, registrations, and classes; (2) preparation of materials for presentations, reports and documents; (3) creating/managing databases; (4) facilitating communication between the Director, Pathways advisory board(s) and internal/external associates; (5) providing support with word processing and spreadsheets and (6) other projects as may be requested by the Wellness Director

LPN - Assisted Living- (PRN, Part-Time) Identifies, coordinates, implements, evaluates and monitors health services for Assisted Living residents in accordance with Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community’s procedures and state/federal regulations. Provides guidance and leadership to AL team members.  Independent judgment required; is held accountable for soundness of professional judgment.  Scope of job duties are of unusual complexity and the quality of decisions made contributes to the physical well-being and safety of the Residents and to the success of the Assisted Living program.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Utility - Campus Inn- (Part-Time Day, Part-Time Evening including weekends and holidays), Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in the Cross Keys Village/The Brethren Home Community’s Core Values.. Cleans dishes, pots and pans, equipment and work areas of kitchen. Follows specific detailed instructions, policies and procedures, including sanitation and infectious control standards. Maintain fire and safety standards. Works under the direction of the Managers and Executive Chef, who will routinely review completed tasks for quality and accuracy. The scope of the job duties is moderate in complexity and the quality of work contributes to the well-being of the Residents. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Wellness/Fitness Technician- (Part-Time, Day/Evening, Flexible Hours), Responsible for the directing, instructing, and training of frail to apparently healthy active aging individuals on land and in the aquatic environment.  Must demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to all adult participants, including the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify participant needs to provide the appropriate class modifications as needed.  Provide assistance in correct equipment usage and maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the Harvey S. Kline Wellness Center.  Maintain client data base using Wellness Center’s software system and perform other duties as requested.

The Human Resources Department is located near the main entrance to the Health Center Building and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications may be picked up or dropped off 24 hours a day at the reception desk at the main entrance. Resumes may be faxed to (717) 624-5451, to the attention of the Human Resources Department. Applications are kept on file for one year.
