Bee Hive Gift Shop
Need a gift or card for a resident (or for another family member or friend)? How about a quick snack?
That only scratches the surface of what’s available at the Bee Hive Gift Shop, located in the main lobby of the Health Care Center building. Here you also can find toiletries, stationery, postage stamps, jewelry, books, clothing, music and more.
Still, this is a gift shop first, and the gifts are the real eye-catchers. Dolls, craft items, Afghans and plush animals are among the regular offerings. Seasonal gifts are a specialty, and that can’t-find-it-at-the-big-store Christmas gift or ornament just might be on our shelves, along with a nice selection of cards.
The candy always includes some sugar-free options, and the prices fit every budget, with a few items still priced at only a nickel. Pretzels, chips and crackers satisfy the salty urge.
The Bee Hive Gift Shop is operated by the Brethren Home Auxiliary and staffed entirely by volunteers. Proceeds support the Good Samaritan Fund for charity care, as well as other Auxiliary projects. New volunteers are always welcome.

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
