For starters, while we’ve been around for nearly 100 years, we are a vibrant and innovative leader in a dynamic field. The only thing remaining as it was in 1908 is our commitment to caring service for those who live here. Fully in the tradition of the Church of the Brethren, that service orientation is at the heart of all we do.
What is changing is how we do it:
• We will work outside of traditional “medical model” roles and disciplines, choosing instead to be interdisciplinary, self-directed, task-oriented and committed to effective “up-and-down” communication

Because we know that everything we do can be done better, we have begun what we call a “Transformational Journey” to create a community that is ever more life-affirming, spontaneous and appreciative of the traditions that define our culture. The Human Resources Department is located near the main entrance to the Health Center Building and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications may be picked up or dropped off 24 hours a day at the reception desk at the main entrance. Resumes may be faxed to (717) 624-5451, to the attention of Beverly Hajek, Human Resources Specialist. Applications are kept on file for one year.
