A new ‘face’ for Cross Keys Village
Facebook, Linkedin, Craigslist help with job postings and more
Recruiting new members for the Cross Keys employee team has gone electronic, with job listings now being posted on Facebook, Linkedin and Craigslist. Results have been very positive, and the Facebook page in particular has begun to supplement the www.crosskeysvillage.org website as a way of providing other electronic updates about all aspects of the community.
Since the Human Resources office began posting the open positions on Craigslist and the social networking sites, more inquiries, applications and hires have come from those sources than from traditional print media.
For those who are on Facebook (www.facebook.com) and Linkedin (www.linkedin.com), you can now join the respective groups (become a “fan”) and get regular updates about the Cross Keys community. Craigslist (www.craigslist.com) does not require that you join.
The new efforts will not supplant the www.crosskeysvillage.org website. It will continue to have the latest news, a calendar of events, special dining events at the Campus Inn, forms to volunteer, make a donation, apply for a job, and more. Visit often.
