Stampers honored by Adams United Way
The Stamp Program at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community has been given the “With Heart in Hand” volunteer award by the United Way of Adams County Volunteer Center. The award was presented at the group’s 61st annual Volunteer Reception and Campaign Celebration April 21 in Gettysburg.
The Stamp Program was recognized in the “Adult Group” awards category, making it two years in a row for a Cross Keys volunteer group winning that award. The Jolly Crafters were the 2008 recipients.
The “With Heart in Hand” awards program recognizes outstanding volunteer service in Adams County.
The Stamp Program previously received the Volunteer of the Year-Group statewide Distinguished Service Award from PANPHA, Pennsylvania’s professional association for non-profit senior care and service providers.
