The Butterflies are Returning
It was a hit with all who attended the Good Sam Butterfly Release in 2008, so the Brethren home Foundation will do it all again with the 2009 Butterfly Release on Saturday, May 23, beginning at 10:00 a.m. near the pond between the Assisted Living and Main Entrances, off PA Route 94. Once again, hundreds of Monarch butterflies will be released in a visual, celebratory spectacle. Butterflies are available to be sponsored in honor or memory of a loved one; call the Foundation at 717-624-5208 for more information. The release itself is free and open to the public.
