Happy 100th Birthday, Arline Wentz
With about 50 of her friends from Assisted Living helping her with a very large cake, Arline Wentz of Hanover celebrated her 100th birthday Wednesday, March 4, at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community in New Oxford. The Hanover native, a registered nurse, has lived at Cross Keys for 10 years. She worked in hospitals in Philadelphia, York and Hanover, and she was a tip staff at the York County Courthouse for 18 years. She is the oldest member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and has been involved in numerous clubs and other organizations in the area. She remains active at Cross Keys and is especially fond of baking activities.
