Goose Creek Boys to open Fine Arts Concert Series at Cross Keys Village on Saturday, March 14

Tight vocal harmonies and hot guitar, mandolin and bass picking will fill Nicarry Meetinghouse at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community when the Goose Creek Boys perform a free, public concert on Saturday, March 14, at 7:00 p.m.

The event opens the 2009 Fine Arts Concert Series at Cross Keys.

Now in their 18th year of performing, the Goose Creek Boys have become local favorites for gospel and bluegrass music. With songs ranging from toe-tapping upbeat tunes to heart-searching ballads, the spirit of the group’s music reaches out and touches the listener.

Their albums include “The Devil Don’t Like Music,” “Christian Way of Life” and “Merry Christmas.” They play regularly at community events, fairs and festivals, and church activities, providing an encouraging message for any gathering.

The Fine Arts Concert Series at Cross Keys receives support from the Brethren Home Auxiliary. The next event in this year’s series will be on Saturday, April 4, and will feature pianist Thomas Pandolfi.

Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is located at the intersection of U.S. 30 and PA 94 (Cross Keys), less than two miles east of New Oxford’s town circle. Nicarry Meetinghouse is best accessed via the Route 30 entrance, which is at the northwest corner of the campus. Directional signage is available at other entrances. Ample free parking is available.
