Gettysburg Civic Chorus to perform Dec. 8
The Gettysburg Civic Chorus, will perform a free, public Christmas concert on Monday, Dec. 8, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Nicarry Meetinghouse at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.
The performance is one of three being given by the chorus at area retirement communities after its annual holiday concert in Gettysburg.
Now in its 46th year – making it the oldest continuing musical organization in Gettysburg – the chorus is directed by Thomas W. Kittinger and accompanied by Sharon Gattens. Its voices include several charter members as well as others who have joined over the years. They hold two annual concerts and also perform at civic events and in churches and retirement communities.
Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is located at the intersection of U.S. 30 and PA 94 (Cross Keys), less than two miles east of New Oxford’s town circle. Nicarry Meetinghouse is best accessed via the U.S. 30 entrance at the northwest edge of campus. Ample free parking is available.
