‘Jon & Kate’ TV stars to visit March 14

Jon and Kate Gosselin, whose lives took the most dramatic of unexpected turns with the birth of twins and then sextuplets, which in turn led to starring in their own reality television series, will speak on Friday, March 14, at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.

Tickets for the 5:30 p.m. talk in Nicarry Meetinghouse are $10 and are available in advance from The Brethren Home Foundation Office.

The Gosselins were “just your average couple,” even after Kate gave birth to twins. Then the desire for one more child lead to the birth of six.

The challenges of raising that suddenly oversized family, keeping everyone happy, and making life at least seem normal made for a good enough story that the Gosselins ended up on the TLC and Discovery Health television channels.

It also gives them good stories to tell to a live audience, especially those Jon and Kate view as miracles, as God working in their lives. Theirs is an inspirational and uplifting story, as well as one with its share of laughs.

Proceeds from the program at Cross Keys will benefit the Foundation’s Good Samaritan Fund, which benefits residents who can no longer afford the services they need.

Call 717-624-5208 or e-mail v.berger@crosskeysvillage.org for more ticket information. Seating in Nicarry Meetinghouse is limited.
