Administrative Assistant (full-time) Facility Maintenance - Provide various clerical duties necessary to support the operation of the Maintenance Office and Safety Program.  Work is routinely reviewed for soundness of judgment, adequacy, and accuracy.  Scope of job duties is complex and the quality of decisions made contributes to the overall effectiveness of the Environmental Service Programs.  Is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service.

Annual Giving Specialist (full-time) - 80 hours per week, some evenings and weekends required. Solicits charitable contributions to The Brethren Home Foundation that support the business operations and the mission of Cross Keys Village--The Brethren Home Community.  Responsible for managing direct mail solicitations and fundraising events according to IRS regulations and industry ethical fundraising guidelines.  Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of these duties.

AM Team Leader for Campus Dining (full-time) - 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, every other weekend. Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in the Cross Keys Village/The Brethren Home Community’s Core Values, scheduling and monitoring of daily activities of the Dining Services staff to ensure the proper nutritional care for residents, staff, and visitors in accordance with The Brethren Home policies and procedures; state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies. Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

AL Attendant II (part-time) - 30 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday. Day/evening rotation. Provides physical and emotional support to Residents who are alert, oriented and relatively independent in accordance with Home procedures and state/federal regulations. Assists Residents with activities of daily living and general housekeeping. Documents observations and interventions in Residents’ medical chart. Supervises self-administration of medications. Assists Assisted Living Activity Coordinator. Works under the general direction of the Assisted Living Administrator; receives clinical supervision from the LPN Charge Nurse. Independent judgment is frequently required.

Assisted Living LPN (part-time) - 6 shifts per pay. 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, includes every other weekend and holiday. The AL LPN works closely with the Assisted Living Medical Services Coordinator, physicians, staff and management to ensure resident health and medical needs are addressed.Performs routine nursing duties, as ordered by a physician, within the scope of LPN practice such as:  pouring/administering medications including insulin, injections (subcutaneous, IM, intradermal), wound care and dressing changes.  Performs nursing assessments. Administers Tuberculin tests and annual flu vaccines.  Confers with the attending physician or an RN, as needed. Refers appropriate nursing care needs to a home health agency.Serves as a resource during the resident pre-admission interview process to ensure correct placement.  Actively participates in resident care conferences.  Performs in-depth assessment of Resident’s physical status.  Plans and evaluates need for health services and support plan development.  Interacts with other service lines during resident transfers.Leads daily care meeting with attendants and management staff.  Provides guidance to the AL attendant staff as it relates to resident care.In the absence of the Medical Services Coordinator, assists physician during visits to AL resident rooms, follows physician orders, orders medications as prescribed, prepares charts.

Assisted Living LPN (part-time) - 8 shifts per pay. 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, includes every other weekend and holiday.

Beautician (PRN) - Responsible for performing hair, scalp, and nail care procedures necessary for the general well-being and comfort of Residents and Team Members. Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations.

Caregiver (CNAs) - (full-time, part-time, float pool) - Administers basic nursing care for Residents in accordance with procedures and state/federal regulations. Completes appropriate records. Maintains safety and sanitation standards. Works under general direction of Care Leader. Work is routinely reviewed for soundness of judgment, adequacy and accuracy. Scope of job duties are complex and the quality of work contributes to Resident and co-worker safety and well-being. Care Giver must be proficient in basic nursing care to meet the Resident’s physical and emotional needs. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service

Care Leader (LPNs)- (full-time, part-time, float pool, WOW) - Within the current and appropriate Nurse Practice Act, supervises and monitor the delivery of care by Caregivers according to resident care plans. Assess resident for condition changes. Monitor dining activities to identify concerns or changes in resident’s needs. Respond to Caregivers request for assistance, correcting inappropriate or unsafe techniques. Identify education needs for the Caregivers.

Clinical Care Specialist II - 2:30 pm 10:30 pm. Displays initiative and demonstrates independent judgment in prioritizing responsibilities. Coordinates and supervises Resident care; leads team members to maintain the highest level of Resident well-being. Leads in the planning, implementation, and management of quality nursing care for Residents in accordance with Community standards and applicable State/Federal regulations. Assists the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Director of Nursing with projects as assigned. Participates in the development and implementation of the Nursing Department’s philosophy, goals and objectives. Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service. Demonstrates exemplary role-modeling skills.

Community Life Leader (part-time) - 30 hours per week.Provides daily program and individual/group activities on the Nursing Units for approximately 40-70 Residents in accordance with Cross Keys Village--The Brethren Home Community policies, departmental procedures/ protocols and State/Federal and accreditation regulations.  Utilizes recreation and therapeutic services for the purpose of intervention in bringing about a desired change or adjustment in meeting Residents needs.  Assists in the planning of activity opportunities for Resident participation that bring pleasure and other positive rewards.  Scope of duties are complex and the quality of work contributes to the Resident’s physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.  Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Cook for Campus Inn (full-time) - 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.

Dining Services Aide (part-time) - 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Includes weekends and holidays. Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in our Core Values. Follows sanitation, infectious control, and safety standards as specified by regulatory agencies. Groundskeeper (full-time, year round) - Maintains the grounds of Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community for the purpose of providing an attractive, safe campus.  Works with and follows specific, detailed instructions established by the department.  Scope of job duties are of moderate complexity and the quality of work contributes to the safety and well-being of Residents and co-workers.  Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

HVAC Technician - (full-time) - 7:00am to 3:00pm. Journeyman level position which performs a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks on plumbing, electrical, steam and HVAC systems. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Laundry Assistant - (part-time) - Perform duties in the Laundry as assigned and directed such as: linen pick up, sorting, washing, weighing, drying and linen distribution. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service. Works as team member with all the day shift support staff.

Occupational Therapist - (full-time and part-time) - A qualified professional who screens, evaluates/re-evaluates, directs, supervises and provides Occupational Therapy services to residents of all service lines (Sub-acute, Healthcare, Assisted Living and Residential Housing) as prescribed by the attending physician.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and to serve as a resource to all other departments with the CKV-TBH community.

Occupational Therapist Assistant - (full-time and part-time) - Implements Occupational Therapy services under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.  Follows the resident’s individual plan of care utilizing prescribed treatment modalities to facilitate achievement of established goals.  Communicates regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist to update and/or progress the resident’s plan of care.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Painting Specialist - (full-time) - 7:00am - 3:00pm. Does all preparation for painting, selects correct finishes, tools and equipment to provide a finished painted surface.  Repairs and touches up small damages to wall coverings or wall surfaces.  Work weekends as scheduled.  Is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service.

Physical Therapist - (full-time and part-time) - A qualified professional who screens, evaluates/re-evaluates, directs, supervises and provides Physical Therapy services to residents of all service lines (Sub-acute, Healthcare, Assisted Living and Residential Housing) as prescribed by the attending physician.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and to serve as a resource to all other departments with the CKV-TBH community.

Server for Campus Inn (part-time) - 11:00am to 3:00pm . Responsible for exercising the high standards set forth in the Cross Keys Village/The Brethren Home Community’s Core Values, table setting, knowledge of the menu and how food items are prepared, proper table service techniques, suggestive selling, taking orders, bussing tables, inputting customer orders into the computerized register, and above all extraordinary customer service skills. Follows specific detailed instructions, policies and procedures, including sanitation and infectious control standards.  Maintain facility’s fire and safety standards.  Work under the direction of the Dining Room Manager. Work is routinely reviewed for adequacy, accuracy and quantity and level of customer service being delivered according to the Community’s Core Values. The scope of the job duties are of moderate complexity and the quality of work contributes to the satisfaction of the customers.

Speech Therapist - (full-time and part-time) - A qualified professional who screens, evaluates/re-evaluates, directs, supervises and provides Speech Therapy services to residents of all service lines (Sub-acute, Healthcare, Assisted Living and Residential Housing) as prescribed by the attending physician.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and to serve as a resource to all other departments with the CKV-TBH community.

Spray Tech (Grounds) - (full-time, year round) - 8:00am to 4:30pm. Maintains the grounds of Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community for the purpose of providing an attractive, safe campus.  Follows detailed instructions established by the Director of Grounds.  The scope of job duties are of moderate complexity and the quality of work contributes to the safety and well-being of residents and co-workers.  The Spray Technician is also responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service, work supervision on assigned projects and quality control.

Telecommunications Assistant (part-time) - 30 hours per pay. 9:00am - 2:00 pm. This position will assist the Telecommunications Administrator in the administration and operations of the campus wide telephone and communication systems.  During the Administrator’s absence, will assume the full responsibilities for the day-to-day operation of the systems.  The scope of the job duties and responsibilities are extensive, requiring analytical and inter-personal skills, plus hands on placement of equipment.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer services.

Village Housing Manager (full-time) - The Village Life Coordinator is responsible to help create a vision that includes a greater sense of community, celebration, enthusiasm, sharing and participation for Cross Keys Village.  Staff member will focus on enhancing the following holistic components of wellness: social, intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of Villagers.  Provides leadership to Villagers and staff on implementing and facilitating these functions.  Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness in conjunction with other staff to determine if the Villager can live with dignity, security and relative independence in Residential Housing.  Utilizes the expertise of The Brethren Home Community staff, residents, or off campus resources when necessary.  Identifies and implements practices, which will foster trust, communication, and a sense of family spirit.  Establish strategic goals in conjunction with Residential Housing Administrator.

The Human Resources Department is located near the main entrance to the Health Center Building and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications may be picked up or dropped off 24 hours a day at the reception desk at the main entrance.
