When individuals move to Cross Keys Village, they become members of our community and part of our extended family. Staff members are throughtful, considerate and supportive, connecting with residents on personal levels and establishing strong bonds of trust and genuine affection.
Licensed as a personal care facility, Assisted Living at Cross Keys Village offers three different support options to meet your needs today and provide options for tomorrow should your needs change.
Catered Living - traditional retirement living with scheduled services such as housekeeping and meals as well as peace of mind with 24-hour access to health care and assistance.
Assisted Living - supportive living with a selection of services and personal attention including assistance with bathing, dressing, medications and other activities of daily living. A monitored shelter care neighborhood for residents who are in poor health or have cognitive impairments and require a more supportive living atmosphere also is part of this level.
Respite Care - short-term care up to 30 days, allowing family and friends the rest they need from the daily responsibilities of caring for a loved one.
Our community is home to nearly 100 assisted living residents, who are part of nearly 1,000 women and men who make Cross Keys Village their home. Studio-style floor plans, as well as some two-room suites, are available, with single or double occupancy. Each floor also has a kitchenette for fixing coffee, tea, or snacks; a spacious living room stocked with games, a computer area, and ample room for socializing; an activity room, and more.
Daily recreational and social activities abound. Energetic and fun-loving groups of residents regularly visit local residents and other attractions (scheduled transportation is provided at no cost), and readers, crafters, bakers, card-players, movie fans and just about everyone else will find friends who share those interests - and places and time to engage in them. Concerts and other performances occur regularly.
Our Bee Hive Gift Shop and Almost New Shop also are located in the main Cross Keys building, as is a beauty salon/barber shop, library, and much more. Church services, concerts and other activities take place in Nicarry Meetinghouse, also part of the building, and the schedule of wellness/fitness activities is growing.
