‘One-man quartet,’ Terry Hall to perform April 9
Terry G. Hall, the “one-man quartet” of Southern Gospel music, will return to Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community to perform favorite hymns and other Christian music selections in concert on Friday, April 9.
The free, public performance will be held in Nicarry Meetinghouse, beginning at 7 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken to support the Good Samaritan Fund, which helps Cross Keys continue to provide care for those who can no longer pay their own way.
Hall has been traveling and singing the Gospel for 36 years, performing hundreds of times a year. He possesses a booming bass voice with a range that earned him the “quartet” label. He has a dozen CDs currently available, as well as a book of “on the road” stories and remembrances. A Kentucky native now living in Tennessee, Hall and his wife Janice use the First Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge as their base for singing when they aren’t on the road.
Their concert at Cross Keys is supported by a gift from villagers Paul and Marlene Rudisill.
Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is located at the intersection of U.S. 30 and PA 94 (Cross Keys), less than two miles east of New Oxford’s town circle. Nicarry Meetinghouse is best accessed via the Route 30 entrance, which is at the northwest corner of the campus. Directional signage is available at other entrances. Ample free parking is available.
